This year’s Return To Camden Town Festival, the performers will be announced shortly.

The information we have so far is as follows;

Return to Camden Town Festival have adopted the legendary musician, academic and social historian, Reg Hall as their ‘poster boy’ for their 20th anniversary year. Reg, who has been the most important figure in documenting the history of Irish music in London, has generously shared his findings in the online publication ‘A Few Tunes of Good Music’. He also compiled two impressive 3-CD Box sets of Irish music in London since the 1950s entitled ‘It was Mighty’ and ‘It was great Altogether’ – all available from Reg will hold court during his usual afternoon session at the Festival this year on the weekend of Sat 27/ Sun 28 October.

This year’s Return to Camden Town Festival will host seven days of traditional Irish music, song and dance at venues in and around the London Borough of Camden from Tuesday 23 to Monday 29 October 2018.

The impressive anniversary line up so far includes: Buttons and Bows, Tulla Céilí Band, Mairtín O’Connor, Cathan Hayden and Seamie O’Dowd, Mary Bergin and Mick Conneely, Roaring 20s Tribute to the Flanagan Brothers (feat.
