Damien O’Kane, Ed Boyd and John Joe Kelly

Damien O’Kane, from Coleraine in Co. Derry, is earning a growing reputation as an exciting musician and singer. He is probably best known for his work with Shona Kipling and Flook, but has recently become a full-time member of Kate Rusby’s band. His banjo and tenor guitar playing are particularly highly regarded and he is winning accolades as a singer, focusing on songs from the North of Ireland.

Guitarist Ed Boyd is best known for his work with Flook. His subtle and inventive playing has also seen him accompanying Michael McGoldrick, Kate Rusby, Karen Matheson, Cara Dillon and Karan Casey.

Bodhrán master John-Joe Kelly has performed with the artists of the stature of Paul Brady, Altan and Cathal Hayden, as well as being the driving force behind Anglo/Irish supergroup Flook.
